My beloved Ron Swanson Along quilt is still touring around and having grand adventures thanks to the kindness and awesomeness of his tour-guide Dana. Holy cow is she taking him to some amazing places! Wish it was me!

October 14th, 2012I finished reading your blog a little while back although I may have missed a few - easy to do when trying to read through the archive. Love the Ron Swanson traveling quilt face. Reminds me of Flat Stanley. Also got a real hoot out of what you did with the Safeway card - pretty funny! I see your DH is in the Coast Guard. Have you ever lived in Kodiak? That’s where I live. Colder version of Astoria, except we are a rock sticking up out of the ocean. Cold and clear here today and we have termination dust on the lower mountains. We could get snow any day but usually not before Halloween. I will be checking in - standing by. N
