Eating Astoria
I’m often asked where’s the best place to dine in Astoria, so I created a list of my favorite places to nosh and nurish. I also added a few of my favorite other must-do’s. I hope you love your Astoria visit as much as I love living here!
Noshing:
My fave, fave, fave place for dining is either T Paul’s Urban Cafe, or T Paul’s Supper Club (both owned by T and Paul). Both are in downtown. You and yelp or urban spoon them for a great sampling of reviews. facebook.com/tpaulsurbancafe
Also faves of mine:
- Fort George Brewery
- Astoria Coffee House & Bistro (you MUST visit Cargo and Lunar Boy across the street from it)
- Bowpicker boat across from the Maritime Museum (best fish & chips - made with fresh, local caught tuna)
- Pig n’ Pancake (The Pig - everyone’s favorite diner - locals and tourists)
Shopping:
- Cargo (scroll down for Astoria info)
- Lunar Boy Gallery
- Center Diamond Quilt Shop in Cannon Beach
Sight-see:
You can not come to Astoria and not visit the Astoria Column! Your camera and flickr will thank you.
I’m not a hiker… but I hear the Saddle Mountain hike is awesome. I’m waiting for them to install a tram.

If you’re ever here on a Sunday between Mother’s Day and October… you HAVE to visit our Sunday Market. It’s also the largest outdoor market in the state and is more of a festival than a shopping experience.
