2011 COLLECTION - Little bouquets of sweet and squishy yumminess.

Happy Mochi Yum Yum was inspired by the colorful and happy displays of sweet mochi confections I would see in the Japanese grocery stores when we lived in Honolulu, Hawaii. The happy little yummy mochi confections of pounded sweet rice were like delicious bouquets of flowers to me. One of my fondest memories about living in Hawaii was the Japanese tradition of families and friends gathering for the New Year’s Day “good luck” mochi-pounding - and it being all about families, friends, happiness, good luck and sweet, squishy, happy, yum-yum mochi. Happy Mochi Yum Yum!
