Oh my oh my oh my oh Winterkist!
August 9th, 2012
I am so excited about my newest line Winterkist being in stores any day now! And just as exciting, Katie of There & Back is having a Winterkist blog hop! I die. When Katie told me she wanted to do a hop with Winterkist I pretty much was in awe and disbelief that she wanted to use my little ole fabric. Thrilled, gobsmacked, disbelief, honored… am I dreaming??!

Quilty goodness coming up with these lovely fabrics. :D
August 9th, 2012hopefully the quality of the fabric is better with this new line - I bought a FQB of Holiday Happy, and was not impressed with how thin the fabric is. I love the prints SO much though, and I now remembered that I cut it into charms and have yet to make that Christmas quilt I was going to! I must work on that soon…..
August 9th, 2012yay!! beautiful!

August 9th, 2012gah!! so gorgeous Monica!! I am waiting on my FQS email to say Winterkist has landed … really want to finish Ron before I start on my Winterkist Bloom quilt, so I figure it’s lucky I’m all the way over in Australia and will have a bit of a postage wait. More Ron time, before Gnoma time starts. Congratulations, it’s such a gorgeous line, can’t wait. see you, Cat
August 10th, 2012I love the little gnomas, so happy to see them back and the colors are fabulous, congratulations, you’ve done it again!

August 10th, 2012I love those greens .. so vibrant and a good accent. Good luck with the new release!
August 10th, 2012I am impressed that you have a black/white colorway with this holiday fabric! Brilliant!
August 10th, 2012Where can I get your Winterkist fabric? I searched the places that I usually order from and nothing comes up.
Thanks.
Hi M - it’s not out yet, any day now! I’m not sure all what shops are going to be carrying Winterkist, but I do know that Sew,Mama,Sew! and Fat Quarter Shop are for sure so far. If you click on the link above the Fat Quarter Shop images in this post it’ll get you to their notifier. - m
August 12th, 2012I don’t know why you are shocked at your fabric being chosen, it’s wonderful! I have loved it since you first let us see it months ago..can’t wait to see it in stores. The little gnomes are wonderful as are the Santas and all the other darling things you’ve incorporated in your designs…sit back and enjoy the glory!!!
August 13th, 2012hi Monica - what other online shops will stock Winterkist, do you know yet? I am on FQS’s email-notify-list. And I saw Kerry sewdeerlyloved has some in stock, but mainly as FQ’s. I’ve worked out my Bloom-quilt requirements and am itching to get my order in!! Have decided to go with red, orange, pink, green with a blue gnoma peeking out as the centre Bloom-circle. And my front-solid will be Madrona Road graphite haystack, and the backing fabric will be graphite gnomas yardage!!! Can you picture the Winterkist/Bloom/Madrona Road awesomeness waiting to be made!! gah!! Cat.
Hi Cat - I don’t know anything unless a shop tells me. Hahaha, you already know more than I do! [seriously, I’m not kidding]. OMG, love the Winterkist/Madrona Road combo for your Bloom quilt! Just let out a big squeal! - m
August 14th, 2012I’m sending this on to my daughter who … much to my chagrin … does NOT sew. This could be the very project to tip her to the other side.
Thanks,
