No sofa, no

October 13th, 2006

Get down.
Off.
No sofa.
Off.
Sofa bad.
Oh all right, stay.

Sometimes I even have to let Liberty and Madison break the rules.

Oh, they’re so beatiful!! Makes me miss ol’ Petey, though he was never into being on the couch. You have lucky pups!

They look so peaceful, kinda hate to disturb them, don’t you!
I think you should get your own sofa, they obviously have theirs!
I think a nice red one w/ goldy pillows would really coordinate!!!
    :)

Oh my goodness your babies are gorgeous! =^..^=

As for the No Sofa! … Uh … I think maybe they win. Possession is nine tenths … and they match the decor!

    Beautiful picture.

    I absolutely love this picture.
I wouldn’t disturb them either. Well, maybe. I would want them to scoot over so I could take a nap too.
    Lucky dogs!

They’re so sweet! What a couple of love bugs….Yea, I agree, you CAN’T make them get down when they look so cute and comfy!

What sweet doggies (girls?)! They look so comfortable, I probably would have let them break the rules, too. I love how I can see evidence of your quilting everywhere - even under the sleeping beauties.

Little did the girls know this would be the last time on the sofa… we bought a new sofa at Ikea yesterday and the girls are STRICTLY forbidden to hop on the new sofa. Now… if I can only get DH and DS to enforce Mom’s Law too! At least the new sofa has removable/washable covers (like our club chairs which you can kind of see).

Jackie, I’m so sad about Petey… I feel bad you had to see this. :-(

Sometimes it’s hard to resist the big, hairy pillows on the couch! ;-)
Sadly our poor goldie has become and outside dog so we no longer have the sneaky rule breaking for couch cuddles. :-( Though she is happy to share her outside couch with us!
Knowing how horrible golden retrievers shed I’d be pretty strict with the “no dogs!” rule when it comes to a new couch too! Nothing worse than trying to get mountains of blonde fur off the furniture!

    Bookends!

Farting around with needle & thread and then blogging about it.
