1001 Peeps Summer Camp!
June 17th, 2011
Today’s the big day… the 1001 Peeps Summer Camp! kicks off at Sew,Mama,Sew!
Last year I was a camp counselor and did the Dragon Slayer Satchel project for Castle Peeps Summer Camp 2010 - I must have done something right (or didn’t get caught doing something wrong) - Camp Director Lizzy has asked me back for a second year of camp counseling!
This year I’ll be following in the same theme as last year: abode protection apparel. Not to spill too much, but it’ll be something made with 1001 Peeps fabric the little peeps can wear to protect the fortress.
Camp kick-off!

oh, just went to look at the Dragon Slayer Bag and it’s too cute!
June 17th, 2011I’m planning on being part of the 1001 Peeps Summer Camp ~ looks like lots of fun!
Looks fun, last year your project was genius!!! And ohmy, you’ve changed up your blog a bit! You’ve been busy!
June 17th, 2011Awesome. I think this is such a fun thing to do. I LOVED going to summer camp. I wish there were some cute boy counselors on the list, though. Isn’t that the best reason to go to camp?
June 17th, 2011Thank you for the summer adventure! Looks like a lot of fun and I can hardly wait to get started.
How nice that you’re wrapping up the summer camp visit two days after my birthday - another treat to look forward to this summer!
June 18th, 2011This camp is bringing back so many memories for me! I went to a “sleep away” camp when I was a kid. We weren’t allowed to enter the mess hall on Sunday nights if we didn’t have a letter to mail back home. I sent home at least a few empty envelopes. Sorry Mom and Dad, I was having too much fun to write!
June 18th, 2011LOVE 1001 Peeps, and camp is gonna be AWESOME this year!
I love your website! It’s so “happy”. Will definitely be returning and bringing friends!
June 20th, 2011Oh boy!!! Here we go again!!
June 20th, 2011On a completely unrelated note …. I got my shipment of Happy Mochi Yum Yum today!! Elebenty! I am so excited to start something that I had to put the fabric in the garage, inside my car, in the tote box of in-case-I-break-down-in-the-middle-of-nowhere (flashlight, bottle of water, Fiber One bars, walking shoes, etc.). I have to calm down before I start anything.
July 11th, 2011Dear Monica:
I contacted you 2 weeks ago, I was inquiring about the Happy Mochi Yum Yum collection. You told me at that time when I find it that I might want to purchase it quickly as it is running out.
I did purchase each and every print in the line, but now all I can think about is wanting more of this fabric. I would like to purchase about 6 of the charm packs. Do you have ANY idea who might still have them in stock? Thanks for
all of your help and keep up the GREAT work, I have been reading your blog for a couple of years and love it alot. I also have the bubbles runner under construction.
May your bobbin always be full,
Debbie Creach

August 13th, 2011Hi Debbie!
Yes, HMYY is selling fast and some shops are already putting in reorders. YAY! I love that you love it so much that you want more! Lecien does not market charm packs - so it’s up to the retailer to kit any up if they want to sell charms. To my knowledge I am not aware of any shops selling Happy Mochi Yum Yum in charm packs. I have a list of shops here that do carry HMYY. You might inquire at the shops on the list - you never know, one of them may kit you up some!
Thank you for all your kind words!!
Mwah - Monica
