Smells like Armadillos…
October 25th, 2010
… so it must be almost time to head to market. Radio Free PKM is cranking it up on KPKM - the place to go to find all blog posts about 2010 Fall Quilt Market in Houston, TX. Are you going to market? Did you make something that’s on display at market? Check out KPKM to either to submit your permalink(s) that pertain to anything/all things market… or to go find the permalinks to visit all the market posts. Or both! Be sure to grab a button from Pam’s post and sport it on you blog.
I’ll be tweeting/twitpic’ing on my twitter from market instead of blogging this year, so all my posts will be instant - vs the month after it usually takes me to make a blog post. Added in: You do not have to be signed up for twitter to read my twitter or see my photos. Reason #1,808 why I ♡ twitter.
Anyone want to do me a flavor flav? Leave me a comment on this post about something you’d like me to tweet/twit-pic… and I’ll try my best to do it. Challenge me… truth or dare me even. And did I mention the #PDXpartyplane? Little ol innocent me flying with Mo, Violet, Traci, Elizabeth, Kristin and Heather. I’m sure nothing scandalous will happen. Nothing.
Note: I’ve gotten kind words on the armadillo (thanks!)… but I can not take credit for him (her?) - it was a copyright free stock image/clip art… I just jazzed him up a little.

Hope you have a wonderful time!! So jealous, but you always share with us so we can live vicariously through your adventures.
Pictures please - especially all the reunions with your friends would be nice. Oh, and all the freebies for inspiration.
October 26th, 2010oh no…. smells like armadillo? if only you knew how warm (read *hot*) it’s still been in houston lately. we’re supposed to reach record highs for this time of year today and tomorrow. blech.
will you stick around for the show/festival or just market? if you’re around friday/saturday, i’d love to meet up!
October 26th, 2010I’m so jealous! I hope you have the best time at market. :)
October 26th, 2010Can’t wait to hear all about it. LOVE the armadillo, your jazzing-it-up is brilliant! Will Pam stop to drape the armadillos she sees in quilts?
October 26th, 2010I’ll be flying out Thursday morning, good thing I wasn’t gong today since chicago canceled a bunch of flights - though with the wind oging now, I could probably get there on a hang glider… Patterns is what I most want to see, great patterns for fun projects both quilty and non.
October 26th, 2010Alas, I will not be going to quilt market this year, but it is on my Bucket List. Hope you enjoy yourself.
October 26th, 2010I want to see cowboys in chaps. I mean, you are in Texas after all.
October 26th, 2010OK, i gotta ask…what DOES an armadillo smell like?
October 26th, 2010once, on a camping trip, an armadillo used his sharp little claws to get into my mom’s tent in the middle of the night. she started screaming and jumping around. it was so hilarious.
October 26th, 2010I don’t know a twit about Twitter, but if anyone could twist my arm, it would be you!
October 26th, 2010Can’t wait to see you at Market. Hopefully a hug will be in order, since at spring market you were a sickie!
October 26th, 2010I hope I run it to you at Market! Looking forward to it!
October 26th, 2010I would love to see pictures of projects you can make from a charm pack.
October 27th, 2010According to my brother in Atlanta, who has an infestation of armadilloes right now, they STINK! But don’t let that stop you from sharing a few pics of the ones you see… oh, and tamales, pretty please, pics of them too. We can’t get good ones in Virginia.
October 28th, 2010I think I want to see pictures of what you and all the PDX ladies do in Houston! Have fun!
October 29th, 2010Market needs to be in DC! :) Have a great time, I know you will. :)
October 30th, 2010Nothing scandalous at all!
*what happens at quilt market stays at quilt market*
But what happens on the flight home seems like fair game. ha!
November 1st, 2010It was soooo fab to meet you and Mo. I am on the hunt now for some of your fabrics and Mo’s.
You truly are even cuter and sweeter and funnier than your blog!!!
I’ll be blogging about Market next week after I make it through FEstival.
Big Hugs!
