Today’s letter is “P”
June 30th, 2010
All this week I’m at a work related seminar with my husband at the BEAUTIFUL Naval Base Kitsap - Bangor (Washington). Of note… there are about 35 males in the class… and I’m one of four females. And this is what’s called justice…
Sashay.
Sashay.
Sashay, sashay away - it’s good to be a girl today.

That is more than Justice…it is a miracle!
June 30th, 2010Woohoo!!! hope you’re enjoying Raesha’s hometown:) I’ll be there July 27 - August 2 and I’m thinking that I want to drive down to Astoria on Wednesday or Thursday to see you!!! What do you think? How long is the drive? My BFF thinks it’s only about 2 hours.
June 30th, 2010Too funny! I’ve been in the ladies room behind ‘the door’ and had two men come in because there……..wasn’t a line. Then I ‘cleared my throat’ with all of the femininity that I could muster…they were out that door sooooo fast…and I was too embarassed to leave the bathroom for 15 minutes. Just another side of the coin. Your picture is sooo funny.
June 30th, 2010I agree, Justice with a capital J! I’m glad I am not a lady who has to go to the restroom a lot, but I feel sorry for those that do when the reverse situation occurs!
June 30th, 2010Hahaha! Beautiful day!
June 30th, 2010BUAH!! Love this! I especially like the guy at the end of the line w/his legs crossed!
June 30th, 2010I love that you went into enough stick-figure detail to give the nearly bald guy speckles for hair. Your cracking me up!
June 30th, 2010You go girl! Literally.
June 30th, 2010Hurrah, payback time for all those slow moving lines at the 49′er games, Cirque du Soleil, and county fairs. Enjoy!!!!
June 30th, 2010Cute shashay girlie!! xo
June 30th, 2010Justice is soooooooo sweet. I like the last guy in line whose legs are crossed so he doesn’t pee in his pants!
June 30th, 2010Thanks for the smile today!
June 30th, 2010Oh now this did make me smile :P Though when I was preggers there was a couple of times I just had to charge into the mens hollering “pardon me, pregnant lady coming through” in those situations, when baby doing the cha cha on your bladder, when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go :P
June 30th, 2010Hilarious! Love your little hip sway :)
July 1st, 2010oh this is so cool… it never happens this way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucky girl….

July 1st, 2010I like the leg crossing action with the last little guy in line
July 1st, 2010Way too funny. Many years ago my son’s Boy Scout troop did an overnight at the Boston Museum of Science with a number of other troops. A few Moms chaperoned the Cub Scouts. It was so nice to have easy access to the ladies rooms in the Museum … for a change!
July 1st, 2010Love the doodle…well its way better than a doodle…but not quite a picasso (or may it is close to that…hmmm)

July 2nd, 2010Sashay away girl!!! Wooohoo Sweet Justice
July 2nd, 2010What splendid doodling! I’ll bet your notebook is filled with all kinds of goodies like these–you should come out with a doodle book for all of us to enjoy!
July 2nd, 2010Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally there is justice somewhere in the world!
July 2nd, 2010This had me in stitches!
July 3rd, 2010You work???? :-)
July 3rd, 2010Wait, so the exact OPPOSITE of Quilt Market? And pretty much every other situation. Nothing worse than a bathroom line.
Lovely illustration, BTW. I think it could be inspiration for the next fabric line, no?
July 3rd, 2010Now that’s something you don’t see every day.
July 5th, 2010Thx for the laugh - I needed that! You’re so funny. :)
July 6th, 2010*snicker* too funny.. definitly not your every day occurance.
July 7th, 2010♥ this! All those times I have waited in line and wished that boys would feel this same pain someday - thank you for this post
July 7th, 2010LOL that is too funny! I grew up about 10 minutes away from Bangor - parents still there in fact :)
July 8th, 2010Love it.
July 9th, 2010Ha! You crack me up. Love the drawing and can just picture you sashaying away.
July 9th, 2010Wanna hear something funny? There are some lawmakers in DC who are trying to pass a law for more stalls in women’s bathrooms. They are claiming gender discrimination because women have to stand in lines and men don’t. Well, duh! Men go in, pee, come out. Women have to undo, squat (or put paper down), wipe, possibly take care of girl issues, redress, flush, then we can come out. I figure if the lines are too long, I have a friend or relative watch and I’ll go in the men’s…although it’s usually too icky, I’d rather wait. :)
July 10th, 2010Hi –
Wish I’d known you were here. I work at PSD. And, Bangor (sorry, Naval Base Kitsap) is just a short hop & jump from home. Hope you had fun…
July 17th, 2010oh YES! I’m a software engineer, one of 5 girls in a company of about 60 guys. We just moved into a new building where there about 5 stalls in the womens’ bathroom… one for each of us! and the guys are all sharing 2 stalls :D sweet sweet victory!
