NMG and “Two Happy” - a freebie-4-youbie

and I’m not going to Market.
I am a card carrying member of the NonMarketGoing Society.
Allegedly all the cool kids will be at Market. Turns out… THE EVEN COOLER KIDS are NOT going to Market - and instead are coming to my NMG Potluck & Slumber Party… and then after a hearty breakfast of my German pancakes - we’ll head over to Amy’s and join in on her Blogger’s Quilt Festival.
Quilt Market, Quilt Schmarket. We’ll show THEM!
NMG Potluck & Slumber Party
+ Bring a pillow, jammies & a quilt (we’ll be making tents in my living room)
+ Bring a dish to share (hoping Candace brings her Crockpot Nachos and Camille brings Route 44’s - yes, I schmooze for food)
+ Post your NMG dish’s recipe on your blog
+ Grab a KPKM button and put it on your blog (sorry, I can’t help with any tech support)
+ Enter your NMG post’s url into Pam’s Mr. Linky and be sure to title it with an “NMG” (because that’s what cool kids do)
While I’m at home (and causing a wee bit-o-mischief), my “Baby Happy” quilt will be on display in the Lecien booth at Market. Baby Happy is one of two quilts from my “Two Happy” pattern for Lecien, featuring Lecien’s ADORABLE new “Old New Fabric Collection 30’s” fabric (ONFC30 for short). Best of all… it’s FAT QUARTER FRIENDLY. Just doin’ my part to make those chubby lil’ 18″ x 22″ cuts feel loved.

October 8th, 2009One question, did you put a little bug in the cute little quilt so we could at least hear whats happening at QM? It’s a cute on and perfect for snuggling up baby!!
I’m not going to Market either! But then again, why would I? I like nachos though — maybe I’ll crash the party.

October 9th, 2009Didn’t know I wasn’t the only one in NMG club (btw, I have a lifetime-membership - how hard is that?).
Second thing is, I haven’t got my new quilt finished for Amy’s Quilt Festival (someone just sabotaged me - day has only 24hrs…unfair!).
NMG Potluck & Slumber Party sounds great! And so looks your new quilt ~ it’s beautiful! I love 1930’s fabrics!

Btw your quilt is soooo damn cuuute, I ordered some of the Lecien ONCF30 two weeks ago and will cut the first fq’s for meee only and for this quilt:)thankya

Picked up your cute pattern this afternoon! I love it! Market is fun, but exhausting. Don’t know what the heck I am doing up playing on compy (well, I have to justify the $10.95/day charge by using it a lot!)when I should be sleeping to prepare for 3 appointments and two or three booksigning lines to wait in….

October 13th, 2009Their pic of the quilt in the pattern doesn’t do it justice. LOVE IT! Love love it. It speaks to me. Me with my scrappy taste and love of all things Monica and Lecien. I had my own party goin on and thank goodness everyone went home! Now I’m still cleaning up but at least I don’t feel like I was pulled through a doggie door backwards. Gosh I just had a mental picture of that. Not good.
