iPhoto Casserole
August 8th, 2009
Going through my iPhoto’s 12,320 photos, I spot many photos I’ve never done anything with. They just sit there - waiting to be seen, waiting to be shared, waiting to be used. Like food that keeps getting shoved further and further to the back of the fridge.
When life gives you ingredients… make casserole.
Rainier Cherries. Not just delicious… but oh so pretty. Speaking of cherries… how ’bout that Mary Engleblog!
And one with a little junk in the trunk.
Chaos at dusk (my flash went off).
Less chaos at dusk (and holding my flash pop-up down).
Le Mona de Dollypop on my shelf-o-joy - darling-gasp-cute-gasp-adorable Lemon Dollypop made by Jenny.
PerezHilton-ishy fun with my iPhone app called MyPaint. A secret known to only a few… Pam is my beverage buddy. Yup. We’ve shared hundreds of beverage phone pics between us. Because this is how we roll.
My lunch at the Daily Cafe at OHSU’s South Waterfront campus in Portland. A grilled panini with brie, pears, watercress and caramelized onions with a navy bean soup chaser. And milk. I always have milk. This is NOT your grandmother’s hospital food.
Boy’s Day (May 5th) at Uwajimaya in Beaverton.
Girl’s Day (March 3rd) at Kinokuniya Books - every day is Girls Days when I get to shop in the craft section at Kinokuniya.
Goofing around at HomeGoods in Goodyear, Arizona.
THINK FAST, Karen!
Good catch, Karen. Good catch.
My paraphernalia. And I mean that exactly as it sounds.
And now I must nap.

That lunch looks absolutely. incredible! I think I could eat it every day. And that dream of a work shop - aahhh, a little bit of heaven. Mmm, coffee!
August 8th, 2009I want to come and play with your little red and white stove! So cute!
August 8th, 2009The cherries are so pretty. Your studio is adorable. Love that orange snippets fabric.
August 8th, 2009Your paraphernalia looks just like mine. Now, if only I could get my studio to be as cute as yours!
August 8th, 2009Cute post :) And that soup looks yummy. Never had brie on panini! Looks devine! Will try it in the Fall when it’s cooler to use the oven. Not in this 95 degree heat. :)
August 8th, 2009So this is what you are left to since the boy is away…cleaning out your phone…hmmm!!!
August 8th, 2009The food looks delish, tho…I think you should make some for our next get together, eh??
Especially the soup!
Oh my gosh. I love those cherries and the info about MaryEngelblog. And of course our secret beverage conversations. Of course you have better weather so I wish I was there. I would love to wake up tomorrow in my room under the bridge like the fat little troll I am and then drive over for pancakes at the pig and then we’d spend the day sewing and having fun and drinking coffee. Ahhh. Sounds super delicious to me.
August 8th, 2009Ahhhh, that fabulous sewing room — a breath of fresh air!
But c’mon now. With 12,320 photos, there must be more than a few of hubby. You’re holding out on us!
August 8th, 2009Thank you very much. I used to kind of like my sewing room. Now I realize that it is a hellhole. Also, I crave a sandwich. But that would mean a trip to the dreaded grocery store, a place I only go when the Diet Coke runs out.
I hope you’re satisfied.
August 8th, 2009I love your workshop. The colors are so bright, happy and appealing not to mention cheerful. I could stay and sew all day in your room. Mine is in the basement and so I don’t have the best lighting but I love the space and have been working on organizing everything. It’s getting there. At least half of the room is done. LOL!

August 9th, 2009I graduated from Agua Fria High School in Avondale, Arizona - right next door to Goodyear!
I though that was worth mentioning considering your yearbook yourself post & your trip in Homegoods in Goodyear.
August 10th, 2009You are having way too much fun to nap. Wake-up and do more! The cherries are so pretty on that bowl. Aren’t those delicious. And that lunch. Holy Cow. There are some things I can’t eat without milk but I admit I’ve never ordered it in a restaurant. But next time I just might.
August 13th, 2009I just love your studio….could I ask…where did you get the wall color? I was going to go an aqua but I love the yellow…I have yellow paint thru out most of my house….but this hue is perfect! I am going to paint the furniture pieces, apple green, red, and now aqua!
