September 8th, 2008
Signs of life… my life. Getting back into the swing of things after our vacation (I’m STILL in de-vacationize mode). Signs that I was nearing Home Sweet Home. I know, bloom where you’re planted blahblahblah (actually, words I live by), but home really isn’t Home to me unless my family’s there too. It was SOOOO great to go home and be with ALL of my family (special shout out to Jodie… Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie, Oy Oy Oy), as well as hang out with my peep n peep. A trip of a lifetime for me. More trip stuff later - after I finish de-vacationizing and catching up on everyones blogs.
Good-bye Oregon. We’ll be back, I promise (or more appropriately… I warn).

Ahhhh. The sign that I’m home…
I took this photo for Kathleen from my iphone to taunt her. A pay-back because she did it to me a few months ago. But my evil (but oh so fun) plans backfired on me since she was getting ready to leave… for Paris. PARIS! So if there are any fellow Cali ex-pats who are looking at this photo and feel like I’m taunting you… well, I AM. Maybe this is how I’ll finally get to Paris myself. If the day ever comes when I get to go to Paris, be assured I will be posting taunting and tantalizing photos of crêpes. Holy crêpe!

Girl, I missed you. Well, I MISS you, but I missed you here too. If I can’t BE with you, I at least feel connected to you here….but not when you’re out galavanting in CA!!! I’m glad you had a good time and I’m SO glad you finally got to spend time with your oz babies! I know that made your trip complete. Hey, you need to start planning your trip to D.C. next year! We can drive up the coast to Keepsake Quilts….tee hee :)

September 9th, 2008I’m feeling it! You wicked and evil woman. I’m from Yosimitie so In and Out is just a happy road-trip south sort of memory but I now live in England and we are now converting our cars into boats after the WET HORRIBLE RAINY summer we’ve had. **Sigh**
September 9th, 2008Welcome Home!! I know for us since we traveled allot this summer it is nice to be home! Ahh and while Paris is fabulous its just as fabulous to sleep in your own bed and not have to pack and un-pack! I am glad to be working again and having the kiddies back at school.
Now onto finishing that Xmas design of mine! Have a great day back at home Monica!!

September 10th, 2008Why stop vacationing?? Oh yeah, life. Oh well I guess vacationing is a great way to get out of the daily grind for a while. Personally, I am glad you are back, I missed reading your posts. Love a good belly aching laugh! I wish we had In and Out burgers here on the east coast. Mickey D’s is sooooo yesterday. Forget Paris crepes are overrated!

Guess I should be ashamed to say we’ve been here for 2yrs or so now and have not gone to In & Out. Looking forward to hearing all the details and seeing photos from your trip.

If I weren’t heading for CA tomorrow, I’d be swearing at the screen. Oh for an In-N-Out burger! Those of you who have never had one don’t know what you’re missing. It’s the supreme fastfood burger. I’ll be at Lake Tahoe on a quilt retreat - and that’s something to envy, too! Missed you, miss Z.

September 12th, 2008Your picture of the In & Out cup made me laugh! My mom moved away from California years ago….and everytime we eat at In & Out I call her to let her know how good it is/was! She calls me a nasty name EVERYTIME! It never gets old! LOLOL

(I hear you’re the new McManager of McDonald’s in Sharon Land!! ….and, since you’re in charge, that means you can serve IN n Out shakes there, right? and that also means that they won’t have any calories in them, right? September 16th, 2008Yo girlfriend! I’m back from vacation, too! Well, I’ve been back for a week, but am moving slowly since we got home. I remember seeing the signs you show when we used to live in Sunny CA, and would travel up to WA. I do NOT miss that drive, oh no I don’t!
