Looking for a magic jar that gets DH’s and DS’s to pick up their clothes up off of the floor.
I fear there is no such jar.

your doggies are so cute. If you find the jar for the other people, get me one too and I’ll pay you back! It’s real messy over here!Kristin

What cute dogs! I don’t have any pets but I sure as heck need a Universe Control Jar.

  3. The fabulous Tamy allegedly said:

Yeah my magic jar around here has ONLY ever worked on the pups and cats. Hubby & kids just aren’t that trainable.

    Beautiful dogs!

    Lissa
who needs to be in control of something stronger than the remote for the tele..

How funny! Your pups are adorable! Did you make their biscuits?

Now Miss Monica. Breathe Deeply. I KNOW you, being OH so clever, can think of a few candidate magic jars for your dilemma!!!

They are sooo cute. Can I bring Madeline over so they can have a play date together? She would love, love, them!! And what’s inside that jar!! She will bring her jar too.

My magic jar would get somebody else (anybody really!) to clean the bathroom. Let me know if you run across the outlet for those kind of jars, please!
Madison and Libby are so darn cute. Guess I should go give Muffin and Blackie a scratch…

What a couple of cuties…the look on their faces is priceless! Actually, if I hold off dinner long enough, I can get my DH and DS to look at me like that. Even drool. But pick up something? Nah. All paws.

  11. The fabulous cindy allegedly said:

Awww, the girls look so darling and fluffy. Hope it didn’t take too long to mop up all the puppy drool. :)

    Your doggies are so beautiful!

Let me know when there’s a jar for a teenager who won’t pick up after herself.

  13. The fabulous Arlette allegedly said:

Cute post and really cute furby’s too! I have a fat cat that follows me into the kitchen everytime I set foot in it. Yes, he also has his eye on his favorite jar. Like you, I’m still looking for that ” magic jar” to control the humans living in our house but I’m afraid it’s going to take more than snacks to control them!
    Aloha!

  14. The fabulous Christiane allegedly said:

reminds me of “Bezaubernde Jeannie”/ I dream of Jeanie, I would be dreaming of a bottle/jar with a helpful djinnie. my three teens have paws too, the wet towels on the floor ………… they love cookies too, but they will not sit up and beg, what about your two cuties, do they?

  15. The fabulous blop allegedly said:

Once upon a time, while I was in college, my kiddos didn’t do their chores and when I got home to their mess, I cut out pictures of great food from a magazine and put them on plates, at their places at the table and left a note….if you would have done your chores, you could have had this (pictures of yummy stuff)..and I went out to dinner, alone! Very effective for a while, anyway, until they got back to their slovenly ways!!! That’s the only time I could control, for a little while, anyway!!
    The girls are looking adorable!

  16. The fabulous Jackie allegedly said:

How sweet they are! But isn’t that what we say about our significant others…. Yes, I agree I wish there were a magic jar for all other family members, but alas, there is not. If you figure it out, please share!

  17. The fabulous Angelina allegedly said:

Dudette- what the hell is in that jar?!

    Your girls are so cute!!

  18. The fabulous Lori allegedly said:

I love it!! Those pics put a smile on my face…even after spending much of the night up with a sick child.

  19. The fabulous Crystal allegedly said:

They are cuties! Almost look like twins.

If you find the magic jar for picking up after kids- let me know. :)

  20. The fabulous Angela (Cottage Magpie) allegedly said:

If you find one, please, I’m begging you, send me one. Seriously. Otherwise one of these days I’m going to snap.

Depriving him of Girls Scout chocolate mint cookies might work for a little while but i’ll try it. Sweetie really, really, I mean really like those deliciously sinful things. He can eat a whole box in one sitting if i let him. They really are YUMMY! The remote control worked for a little bit but it got ugly so I gotta find another way. Please send one my way if you ever figured it out!

    Those girls are adorable!

  22. The fabulous Angela allegedly said:

If you find that magic jar — um, yeah, send the info my way. I swear I’m about to cry at the thought of digging out my sewing area. I went out of town for 5 days — HOW did they get that much stuff on there?

  23. The fabulous Natalie allegedly said:

Hilarious and cute. I love blogs.

  24. The fabulous Nanna Jamma allegedly said:

I am LMAO right now! Only a dog could be that riveted to what’s in a jar! If only it were that simple for the men in our lives, eh?
I don’t know why, but your photo essay has reminded me of once upon a time, when my then much younger hubby woke up (I thought!)from a dream, leaned over me and said “Just think…..the entire world could live on one can of tuna fish!!”. Unbeknownst to me, he was still asleep, and my hysterical laughter woke him up! Maybe the answer lies in that magical can of tuna fish, you think?

  25. The fabulous Mymsie allegedly said:

    Awwww - sweet pups :)

  26. The fabulous Anne Sutton allegedly said:

Dang those are cute dogs! Give them the whole jar! They deserve it!

Had to come over from PKM’s blog to say congratulations on your magazine quilt! It’s adorable. Keep them coming!

that is the most precious post…love it …Are two dogs better than one? We always think about getting another…Jennifer
