September 8th, 2007I put out a few Fall decorations today hoping I could will the blazing hot New Mexico sun to take a little break. I can’t wait for fall…the heat this summer has just about done me in.

September 8th, 2007That’s what OUR leaves look like here in Birmingham, but that’s because the trees are dead from no water. Not ’cause they’re turning pretty colors in anticipation for fall. lol I’m with you though - it IS exciting!!!

September 8th, 2007Oh Yeah BABY! I cannot wait. I’m NOT a summer chick. It’s still VERY humid here. We left Baby and Chuck outside and when Anisa was done driving her Boxy girl, we pulled all the vehicles into the garage. Baby and Chuck were all wet from the humidity. I can hardly wait to see the 5 feet of snow in my yard!! :)

September 9th, 2007I am a Fall Ho too. It is my absolute favorite time of year. Just today I asked the DH…”do you think it will be fall soon?” He reminded me we now live in TX––not sure if there is a Fall in TX. I will create one if there isn’t!! In MY Universe it is ALWAYS Fall.
Now…you go take a nice cold shower…or smoke…or something.

September 9th, 2007I love your leaf, and I absolutely LOVE fall. It’s definitely my favorite time of year, although it doesn’t feel a bit like it right now to me. It feels like summer still - the Pacific NW summer, that is!
Thanks so much for coming to visit me, and reminding me of “say goodnight, Gracie” - I had forgotten George used to say that to Gracie on their show.
