TSAB - Twins seperated at birth
March 9th, 2007
PKM sent me the most beautiful fabric (mailbox love), and unbeknownst to each other - were each making the same quilt from a little Japanese quilt book called “Square Patchwork”. Twins separated at birth. Check out PamKittyMorning to see her work of art!
If the fabic Pam sent me isn’t beautiful enough… look how it’s JUST MADE for the Hello Kitty sewing machine! A match made in heaven (or at least at Target and Windham fabrics). I think this little quilt will HAVE to be my new machine’s “blankie” when it comes. Oh yes… I’ve already adopted her from Target.com - last night as soon as I got home. Now I have to wait. And wait. And wait. I’m still thinking of a name for her. I’m leaning towards Mimi (HK’s twin sister - so few know about her and I think it’s high time she gets some props). That’s it… Mimi! Very fitting!

so pretty. so, so pretty.
March 9th, 2007What a bummer that you have to wait, but at least you get one….yeah!!!! Too bad that we blanked yesterday….but soon, happiness will once again reign in casa de happy!!
March 9th, 2007That will be such a super little place for the HK to sit. Your runner is darling. I was so going to use that fabric but decided I’d made several things out of it, I needed to give it a rest, so I used the In the Beginning floral. Which I also love, but has no aqua. I should finish it, but I’m still blanket stitching for another few hours. Maybe after that. Although that star runner in the STAR book really really wants me to make it.
March 9th, 2007Such a lovely quilt!
Isn’t it such a comfort to be reunited with twins?
March 9th, 2007That quilt is awesome.
March 9th, 2007Oh, my! Love Hello Kitty and that darn little sewing machine…it was not a good thing I came by here tonight..lol..I will ahve to ahve that little machine!!
Love your little quilt..so pretty!
March 9th, 2007So darling! You both did a great job with that project–so pretty…and I had NO IDEA that a machine needs a blankie. I’ll have to give that some thought–since my dad ordered a HK machine for me! (Geeze, would people stop being so NICE to me??)
March 9th, 2007How much fun was tonight? Thank you so much for hosting and the yummy pizza and wine. I had so much fun!! Your studio is stunning. Thanks again (and I’m digging the little bucket of love!)–Wen
